Custom Screen
So-called user macros may be used to implement proprietary functions which are not provided in the software. You can either program the macros yourself going to the macro dialogue (Configuration menu -> Macros)
and selecting user macros from the list.
Or use the import function (File menu -> Import settings) to install macros,
which you have downloaded from the internet or were included in the scope of delivery for the machine.
Application examples
Typical sample applications for user macros include: Warming up spindle, tool measurement with mobile sensor, finding the centre of bore holes etc.
