Macros

Macros
Flexibly adapt the machine with macros
The controls can be adjusted by programming so-called Macros flexibly adapted to various machines. Macros are short programs written in an expanded G-Code programming language and is implemented if special commands such as automatic tool changing (M6) are executed.
Macros define the reaction of the control for a command. Macros are also available, which are run at specific times or during specific events, such as for example the boot macro which runs during the booting of the control software.
Macro directory
If the machine is supposed to switch operating modes, altering the macro directory simply between two or more macro sets can be done without altering all the macros individually.
By right clicking on the „Edit“ button a text editor will launch and you can edit the program text in the individual macros. This is only recommended for advanced users and is described in the separate reference handbook.
